Hello,
Just wondering the thoughts on hybrid services? What do they actually do? Or are hybrid owners just getting normal ice services?
I think so. For me, the first ICE oil change was at 10,000 km, without regard for the ratio of ICE to electric operation.
This thread has a few comments on PHEV services and intervals:
Oil was changed on my Phev at around 2000 miles on it’s first service.
Dealership also changed the cabin filter(s).
Mileage now, 20,100, average 6,000 a year, about 32% pure electric.
Using independent garage, 3rd service, they changed Oil & filter, then full MOT, which is basically the rest of the service.(£196.20).
Next service, again oil, oil filter & MOT, possibly Cabin filters, check on batteries & brake fluid.
This is about it now alternate every year, and any work will be done as & if required.
Stellantis schedule is annually or 20,000 miles what ever sooner and as my car/engine does less I feel this approach is about right.
